President - Emma O'Donnell
Hi everyone, my names Emma and I'm the new president for guaps for 2021. I'm going into my third year of my B.Pharm and I LOVE what I'm studying. I moved to the Gold Coast at the beginning of my degree in 2019 after living in Melbourne for a few years. The lifestyle is so different, but I quietly think I prefer it here (ssshhh, don't tell my mates back there). In my spare time you can find me obsessing over plants, indoor or outdoor and recently my lawn or attempting to surf. I am so excited for what 2021 is shaping up to look like and I think I can speak on behalf of the new committee to say we are so excited to hopefully (finally) get back on campus and start running events again.
Vice President - Chantelle Florenca
Hey there, I'm Chantelle the Vice President of GUAPS in 2021! I'm in my second year of my Bachelor of Pharmacy degree and I'm loving it. COVID-19 took a toll on us last year so I'm keen to work with my fellow colleagues to organise events which are fun and beneficial to you. Keep an eye out, watch this space and sign up to GUAPS for a fantastic 2021.
Secretary - Roop Nijjar
Hi there! I’m excited to be your GUAPS secretary for 2021. I’m an international student from Canada and I’m spending the next few years in Australia studying pharmacy. I’ve always wanted to be in the health care field (after watching 16 seasons of Grey’s Anatomy :p) but I didn’t know which profession exactly. During high school, I did a placement as a Pharmacy Assistant and realized that I really enjoyed the pharmaceutical aspect of health care. In February 2020, I packed up my whole life and moved to literally the furthest place from home. I’ve only been here for about a year but I am loving life down under. I’m looking forward to coming back to campus and getting to know everyone in person. Please don’t hesitate to message me on Facebook, Instagram, Teams etc if you have any questions or you just want to chat :)

I look forward to meeting you all in 2021 and I hope that we have an exciting and productive year!
