President - Emma O'Donnell
Hi everyone! I’m Emma and I’m continuing my role as president for 2022. I loved my role last year and I am looking forward to all the cool things we’ve been discussing for next year. In my role so far I have really enjoyed representing the student body and providing a voice for everyone, as well as encouraging a welcoming and engaging club for students to present ideas to and get involved with. I’ve also found a lot of enjoyment with helping others in developing new initiatives they’ve come up with for our fellow pharmacy students whether it be by helping find volunteers or allowing GUAPS to provide some form of financial assistance in the development of a new idea. I look forward to working with the 2022 committee moving forward and I can’t wait to see what great things we can offer students next year. We’ve got a lot of excitement and a lot of fresh new ideas to get more people involved!

Vice President - Roopjot Nijjar

Hi there! I’m excited to be your Vice President for the year of 2022. I’m an international student from Canada and I’m spending my next four year in Australia studying pharmacy (I’ve always wanted to be in the health care field (after watching all seasons of Grey’s Anatomy :p) but I didn’t know which profession exactly. as a Pharmacy Assistant and realized that I really enjoyed the pharmaceutical aspect of health care. In 2020, I packed up my whole life and moved to literally the furthest place from home. It’s been two years and I’m loving it! I’m looking forward to coming back to campus and getting back to normal. Stay tuned for lots of amazing events and opportunities this year :)
Secretary - Emily Burston

G’day, I’m Emily, and I’m the Secretary and Rural and Indigenous Chair for 2022. I’m going into the fourth year of the Bachelor of Pharmacy program. I graduated from Pharmacology and Toxicology in 2019, and served as Secretary that same year. After our massive improvements and achievements in 2021, I’m excited to be back in the role and ready to make 2022 even better! I was born and raised in Casino, about 3 hours south of the Coast. Outside of pharmacy, my next favourite thing is music. I play electric bass and bass clarinet for the city’s wind orchestra. If you have any questions or suggestions, please don’t hesitate to send me an email at guaps@napsa.org.au or a message to my Teams account
